The Regathering of Israel – New Nation State Bill

July 19-2018

Israel’s new Nation-State Bill signed yesterday July 19th may not carry much significance to some.  For those who believe in the Bible, that it is the Word of God, (and understand Biblical prophecy), we see much Biblical significance.  This is something believers in Christ look forward to (His coming) and know it is near with all the signs we are seeing all the time.

There is far too much to go into to explain all the prophecies of the end times, or the promises made to Abraham.   I’ll just go into a few and then provide you with the Bill to read.  There is a specific Land promised to Abraham and His descendants through Isaac and Jacob.  It is not promised to Ishmael, or any others, but to the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.   God is not a man that He should lie, He is all powerful, and it will be accomplished.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Some say they support Israel, (and really don’t) and others pray for the peace of Jerusalem, which we know will come because God’s promises are true.  But for the Jewish people, they still have seven years left on a prophecy that Daniel made.  And a time of Great tribulation.  This is the land that Matthew 24-25 speaks of, the city Jerusalem, and a time where when the antichrist declares Himself god in the temple they need to flee, and pray it not be the Sabbath.    They will have made peace with this man for a season, but his time will end after the seven years.  The Jewish people better pray that they see the day and understand that their Sabbath Rest is Jesus Christ, Son of David, King of Israel, sooner rather than later.

And then after those last horrible 3-1/2 years, and a short time of judgment of the nations, this righteous King Jesus will sit upon the throne.  He is THE anointed the Scriptures prophesied of.  He is the descendant of King David, and furthermore His lineage is through the tribe of Judah.  He came as the Lamb of God, the Lamb that takes away the sins of whosoever will believe upon Him.

Jesus is coming again.  Israel did not know their time of visitation, but He is merciful, longsuffering, His lovingkindness endures forever.   But He is coming in ferocity as the Lion of the tribe of Judah and will purge Israel, and He will punish the inhabitants of the earth, all who reject Him.  He is also known as the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the Last.   He will have those piercings on Him, and Israel will look upon the One they pierced and mourn (Zech 12:10) as they finally realize who their Savior is.

The Land promised to Jacob/Israel through Abraham

God said He would scatter and disperse Israel until the time of the Gentiles was over and enemies would move into their land.  We are fast approaching that time (Leviticus 26:32-33; Ezekiel 22:14-15; Hosea 3:4-5; Luke 21:24).  Israel started buying land back from those who were occupying it in the 1840s.    It was dry and desolate land when they bought it.   They were charged ten times what rich farming land was worth anywhere else in the world.   Jeremiah 32 foretold they would have to buy back their own land.

42 “For thus says the Lord: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them. 43 And fields will be bought in this land of which you say, “It is desolate, without man or beast; it has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.” 44 Men will buy fields for money, sign deeds and seal them, and take witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captives to return,’ says the Lord.”

They have worked the land, and made it fertile land again, even as certain cities will remain uninhabited (as the Bible foretold – (Is 35:1-2; 55:12; Matt 11:21-23).  This will continue through the Millennial Kingdom.

There will be a time when all the land which was promised to them will finally be theirs.   God said He will set His hand a second time to bring them to their land. (Is 11:11-12; Ez 20:34, 36:11; Is 43:5-6; Ps 107:2-3). And then the second gathering of Israel will be final.  Right now we see in #6 and #7 a continued move towards the regathering of the Jewish people to Israel.  We see Jerusalem rightly identified as their city, as God’s chosen city.

‘Since the day that I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Israel in which to build a house, that My name might be there, nor did I choose any man to be a ruler over My people Israel. Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’  2 Chronicles 6:5-6

What about the other children of Abraham?

This does not mean God does not have a plan for the children of Hagar, Ishmael, the Arabs, He does and has since the beginning.  He has sent a Savior, His Son Jesus.  Jesus is not ‘just’ a prophet, he is THE Prophet that Moses said you must listen to or He will require it of you (Deut 18:18-20).  He is the last Prophet, the Son of God who was prophesied about in the Old Testament.  If you do not search out the truth, God will require it of you.

He loves you, and has offered you a way to be saved from the penalty of your sin — eternal death.  Only God is the Savior, and He sent His Son Jesus (God in the flesh), to die for the sins of the whole world.   Unto us this day is born, in the City of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.   He died for every man, woman and child — yes you, all precious in His sight.   All who believe on Him (Jesus as Lord, meaning God the Messiah) and what He did (died on the cross for all of your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead, just as He said He would), all those who believe this will live eternally with Him, as a promise God made with Abraham all those thousands of years ago.  Abraham believed God and was declared righteous, will you?
