Jesus My Savior—Who is God to you?
Not enough time to tell you about the Lord I know, who has comforted me in all my sorrows, and been with me when I was alone… but here are some.
Move close to Him, His eye is on the sparrow…
Tender new mercies, and unfailing compassion. Great is His Faithfulness!
This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” Lamentations 3:21-24
When I felt like I was dying, and my heart was completely broken. There He was…
Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26
He cares about every tear…
You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book? Psalm 56:8
He knows everything thing about you, every single hair on your head…
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Mat 10:29-31
He commands His lovingkindness in the daytime, His song is with us at night.
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life. Ps 42:7-8
He knows us, every thought…
O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. PS 139:1-2
He knows what we will say before we do, His hand is upon us…
You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it. PS 139:3-6
There is nowhere we can go where He is not…Even when we make our bed in hell…
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You. PS 139:7-12
Can you not see how fearfully and wonderfully you are made? He knew all our days before we were made.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. PS 139:13-16
Can you imagine? His thoughts towards us are more than the grains of sand…
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. PS 139:17-18
No matter what you face, by circumstances of life, or circumstances of your own making, He will hold you up.
Unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence. If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. PS 94:17-19
Our sins removed as far as the East is from the West. Can you measure that?
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. Ps 103:11-13
Are you beat up? Get into His Word…
My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word. Psalm 119:25
Tired?
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” Jeremiah 31:25
Weak?
My soul melteth for heaviness:
strengthen thou me according unto thy word. Ps 119:28
Brokenhearted? He even numbers and calls the stars by name. Humble yourself to Him.
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground. PS 142:3-6

This is why He came…
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” LUKE 4:18-19
Put your faith in Him… Seek Him in His Word, He will reward you.
(Not your church or religion, but that Jesus Christ came because He loved you. To pay the price for your sins (death). To be a sacrifice in your place. He was crucified and He rose again in 3 days as He said He would. He fulfilled prophecies that were written centuries before He came to the earth).
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. HEB 11:6
You cannot be good enough, there is only one way…
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Rev. 21:27
We are all sinners in need of a Savior; we have all sinned and we fall short of His glory.(ROM 3:23)
Not one of us is good enough or can do good enough things to get a place in heaven. (Is 64:6)
Jesus was not just a good man…
He was who He said He was, the Son of God, the Messiah, God, our Savior and Redeemer, and He said that He was the ONLY way, the Truth and the Life and that NO man will come to the Father BUT by HIM. (John 14:6)
Now He either was speaking the truth, or He was a liar and a madman who led multitudes to their death, persecution, and much hardship. They did not deny Him, because they knew. They were eyewitnesses to His crucifixion and eyewitnesses to His resurrection.
Some who are reading this may say, I’ve read the Bible, I don’t believe. Well, time is short, you better figure it out, because you can die tomorrow. Or tonight. We are not promised tomorrow.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. You need to ask someone who knows Him. You are not reading this by accident, you know who you are. Feel free to pray to Him directly and ask Him simply to help you find Him. Feel free to email me. God bless you to find the truth.
Jesus died on the cross for your sins, as well as mine, and the entire world, those who were there, those who had already lived, and those like us who would be born 1900-2000 years after He died and rose again. He died in our place. He rose again, proving He is God and has the power to take up His life again. If you will believe on Him, what He has done for YOU in your place, you will be born again. He will make you a new creation. You will still have sin and flesh present with you, and this is why we need friendship with like-minded believers and we need time in His Word every single day. Start with the book of John, chapter 20:31 will tell you why it was written. Or post here and we’ll help.
His words are spirit and they are life!!! John 6:63
BELIEVE ON HIM… John 3:14-18, 36; 4:41-42; 5:24; 6:29, 35-40, 47
“There is no one who does good, not even one” (Psalm 14:3). We have rebelled against God’s commands; we “like sheep, have gone astray” (Isaiah 53:6), “The soul who sins is the one who will die” (Ezekiel 18:4), For the wages of sin is death, (HERE’S THE GOOD NEWS) but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23)
Why did Jesus say He Came?
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
He is a God of love. Yes He loves all sinners.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10b
You can’t earn it.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Eph 2:8-9
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31
He resists the proud…
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. IS 57:15
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. I Pet 5:6-7
I implore those who don’t know Him, be reconciled to God through what Jesus did, place your faith on Jesus Christ alone!
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 1 Cor 5:20

Wonderful…
You were quick, still working on it, guess I hit publish or update, whichever 🙂 Thanks, and God bless…
God gives us life everlasting. The Epistle of Jude gives a picture of our life in Christ. Verses 20 to the end of the book teach us to maintain our life with God. With thanksgiving and praise: “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, Who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen” God is this to me, and so much more!
Yes! HE is able to keep us from stumbling and present us faultless before the presence of His glory… oh for sure, what exceeding joy that will be! God bless you Sally! Thanks for commenting 🙂
I’m pretty sure I’m not crazy, either. Definitely not perfect. BUT, I am forgiven. So if I’m crazy, fine. I would rather have this “craziness” than be stuck in the desolation I was in before He saved me from myself. And by the way, I used to be a persecutor of Christians, much like Saul/Paul, much like your friend Paul you addressed this to. Although I didn’t behead anybody.
Carrie… Love your post… I know what you mean about definitely not perfect, me either, but I am so thankful that He suffered, bled and died for my sins, and He rose again, just like we will, and for that, we have this great hope, and this great promise, of which, God is not a man that He should lie. I totally believe His testimony of His Son (I John 5:9-13) I was never a persecutor, but surely caused God’s Word to be maligned I am sure by a lot of my behavior, but I am thankful He accepted this prodigal daughter home…
Amen to your post sister. God bless you.
Thank you Derick, God bless you too.
Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Also happy to see you here, thank you for reading Kearcy <3
